The ELX10K Digital Fund, is a PaloSanto Solutions initiative that aims to encourage the inclusion of new features and ideas to the Elastix distribution via community-submitted projects. With this initiative we expect to further expand and improve Elastix while welcoming the whole community to get involved with donations to partially fund the projects.

PaloSanto Solutions has already granted a total of USD $ 10,000.00 distributed unequally between the following first five projects according to the project's scope, the type of license and the cost budgeted for its complete development.

Call Center Agent CallBack Login

Support for Agent CallBack Login in Elastix's Call Center module. Once this functionality is implemented, agents in Elastix call centers will be able to work with their phones on-hook and only have them off-hook when actually talking with customers as their extensions will automatically get called when inbound or outbound calls they need to handle arrive. Configurations for this functionality will be accessible in the Call Center web UI.

Cloud Backup Tool

Cloud-based backup tool featuring compatibility with Amazon's S3. This web UI module will allow users to easily manage customizable backups that will get conveniently stored on the Internet cloud. The backups can either be launched manually or be scheduled as one-time or recurrent jobs. Thanks to using a globally reachable and secure backup storage space, this module can be particularly useful when performing migrations or new installations.

Desktop Sharing

Desktop Sharing functionality for the Web Conference module. By adding this functionality to Elastix's Web Conference module, users will be able to share their desktops both in either view-only or full control modes. Starting and ending the desktop sharing between two or more participants of the web conference will be easily accomplished at any time without the need of manually entering any special IDs or credentials of any sort.

Disk Cloning Tool

Clonezilla-based tool for creating complete HDD copies. This module will allow users to easily manage full HDD copies of their Elastix servers right from within the web UI. The user will have the possibility to start cloning the selected HDD either as an image on the same disc or select another internal or external disc as the destination. Scheduling for one-time and/or recurrent cloning jobs will also be possible.

Multi-Tenancy

Multi-Tenant support for Elastix. By developing and implementing this support, Elastix administrators will be able to host and service more than one site or company inside a single Elastix server. It will allow for complete dialplans (extensions, trunks, inbound and outbound routes, etc.) of different companies to seamlessly coexist under a same single server while at the same time keeping configuration interfaces and files fully isolated and invisible between the Elastix administrators of the different hosted companies. All this without experiencing any impact or overhead due to virtualization as none will be used.
